Winnie Purse card

I hope you are feeling the Holiday spirit as much as I am!! Now that is November (at least for me) It is time to decorate everything in Red and Green and GLITTER!!

For the Digichoosday challenge this week I made this cute little Winnie purse card.

I started by printing off my Winnie embellishment from the Polkadoodle website here. I decided to back my Winnie with this digital paper I printed from the website.

Then I got my 12x12 paper and followed this awesome tutorial from one of my best friends Rachel's blog.

Once I had my purse constructed I decided to go off on my own and do my Winnie topper. I skipped the handle but I think this would be fabulous for gift boxes filled with candies or anything really.

Thanks for looking!!

Christmas Dog Card

Hello! I just loved my little Cooper so much from the last post I decided to have him star on another card. This time I surrounded him in glitter and a few snowflakes.

First I printed out Cooper from the Polkadoodles website here. Then I colored him with my Prismacolor pencils and cut him out by hand.

I printed this patterned paper from the website as well. I found a black shimmer cardstock and used that for my base and banner. Then I cut my glitter cardstock for the top and my strip for the bottom. I put my printed plaid paper on a green shimmer paper and cut it to size. I then layered them onto my red glitter card and then onto my black shimmer.

I used some letter stickers to make my sentiment and placed those on the banner then arranged Cooper and my banner. I finished everything off by adding some snowflake brads and a few sparkly red rhinestones.

Cooper shaped card

Hello everyone!!

Today I am featuring the absolutely adorable Cooper puppy from the brand new Polkadoodles Too Cute line. I made this little card using papers from this awesome Christmas paper pack I found online. I colored Cooper using Prismacolor pencils.

I had these red and silver fibers in my stash at home and added a few embellishments I found in my cache as well. I hope you enjoy my little card as much as I do.

Christmas Blocks

I simply love Christmas almost as much as I love quilting. I decided to make a card that incorporated  both.

I started off by printing several papers from the Polkadoodles website. I got most of my Christmas papers from this awesome winter paper pack.

Then I printed and cut out this Winter Winnie picture from this design pack.

I measured and cut the papers into 2.5” squared. I arranged them how I liked them best then I adhered them to my 6x6” square. I placed my Winnie picture and a little sentiment I found on the Polkadoodles website.

To finish off the card I added a little snowflake brad and some pearls I had in my paper crafting stash.

I hope you enjoy my little card as much as I do. Thanks for stopping by!!

Hello everyone!!

This week I played around with some amazing Halloween papers I found on the Polkadoodle website. My house has been super crazy with all the back to school festivities so I'll keep this short and sweet.

My friends and I love a good Halloween bash. It is so much fun to dress up and have all kinds of spooky foods while we hand out candy to all the little kiddos. I decided to step up invites this year and this is what I came up with.

I simply printed the digital papers onto cardstock and cut them out into squares. I added black borders to them before printing. Then I printed out my little Winnie with her cute kitty.

Once everything was arranged I added a digi sentiment, some nuvo drops, and a dark gray rose at the bottom.

Thank you for looking!!

Retirement Card

I have heard the saying "Retirement is Bliss" thousands of times over the years. Today I wanted to celebrate a family friend's joyous occasion with an elegant card. I found this great printable retirement sentiment on the Polkadoodles website. I used a tag from this collection, opened it on the computer then sized my sentiment inside. Once printed I cut out the tag. Then I printed this distressed wood paper to use as my background.

I found some amazing lace in my stash as well as these awesome paper flowers. I finished everything with a few nuvo dots in the corner. Super simple but it turned out so classy looking.

Christmas House

I think anyone that lives in a super warm climate going through the summer heatwave would love to escape even if just for a day to a cooler climate. Well today I am celebrating Christmas in July!!

Today's blog will be short and sweet. I made this adorably easy little house using papers and the amazing template from the Festive Fun collection at the Polkadoodles website.

Once I printed my papers and placed them on the template using foam tape I used some glitter and some of these little craft stones on my roof.

For my tree I printed 3 little trees the same exact size. One of them I did a mirror image of the others. Then I cut them out and scored them down the middle. I placed them with the matching backs facing each other and glued them together. Then I spread it out to make it a 3D tree in front of my house.

Sorry for the lack of pictures this time. I did most of this one on the go but I promise next time you will see more of my process. Any questions?? Comments are always welcome!
